Dr. Otmar Stöcker, Managing Director of the Association of German Pfandbrief Banks (vdp), in cooperation with the vdp Pfandbrief Academy, has developed an e-learning program that explains the basic principles of the German Pfandbrief Act. Among other things, it covers key topics such as Pfandbriefe as securities, the central importance of the cover principle & cover register and the insolvency of the Pfandbrief issuer.
