More than 1,100 guests came to HypZert's anniversary Annual Convention. HypZert had invited its certified valuers and other guests to celebrate its 25th anniversary at two locations in Berlin. 

The Certification & Valuation Award has been presented since 2001 to persons who have made an outstanding contribution to valuation, especially for the financial sector and for HypZert GmbH. 

We have extensively renovated our certification logos. You can now download them from your Valuers Corner. 

vdpResearch presented its new property information system LIS at the HypZert anniversary annual convention. Exclusively for HypZert valuers, LIS provides sound property and market data for the valuation of residential properties.

The foundation of HypZert was triggered by the criminal behaviour of an individual: A so-called "building lion" named Jürgen Schneider had applied for and received large-volume loans from various banks in the 1990s to finance his rapidly growing real estate empire.

In the article "Property Valuation for lending purposes" for the journal "Housing Finance International", Annett Wünsche, vdp Department Head Valuation, takes a closer look at current regulatory provisions and procedures for property valuation.

Wayne Nygard, who has been active in different roles in the real estate valuation business in the United States, is a true bridge-builder and a friend of HypZert from the very early days on. After many years of collaboration, Wayne has become a member of HypZert’s Steering Committee where he adds a truly international perspective.
