Qualification of valuers in the small loan sector

Together with recognised valuation experts, we have developed a qualification programme for the valuation of residential properties when granting small loans, which meets the high requirements for valuations in accordance with § 24 of the Ordinance on the Determination of the Mortgage Lending Value (BelWertV) and the Residential Property Loan Directive: a qualification for valuers in the small loan sector. For valuations of collateral below the small loan limit, the valuer does not have to be a valuer qualified in accordance with § 6 BelWertV. The preparation of a full valuation report in accordance with § 5 BelWertV may also be omitted. However, the person preparing the simplified valuation must be sufficiently trained and qualified to determine the mortgage lending value. The qualification offered here can be used to provide this proof.

This qualification is only available in German language.

Employees or third parties commissioned by credit institutions whose daily business is the simplified valuation of small loans in accordance with § 24 BelWertV.

Completed vocational training as a bank clerk or equivalent training or studies in the real estate sector

         or

At least one year of activity in loan processing or real estate financing/valuation within the meaning of §24 BelWertV

The qualification of the candidates takes place in 4 steps on a web-based application, which allows learning independent of location and time:

1. Registration for qualification via our online form and subsequent registration on our e-learning portal.
2. Training: Processing of the learning content incl. the tests after each module.
3. Issue of the qualification certificate after completing and passing all modules including tests
4. Annual update on further training and extension of the qualification certificate

Participation in e-learning incl. online examination: 650 €

Participation in the annual update incl. online examination: 150 €
